Team Ron and Kali
Making a find
Kali has her MT Trailing Certification from the American Bloodhound Club and her L.E.T.S. (Law Enforcement Training Specialist) certification. Kali and her handler are members of Mid-Michigan Working Dogs, Tri-State K-9 Search and Rescue and the Virginia Bloodhound Search and Rescue organization.

I didn't realized Kali was doing her ID by standing on this object that looked like somebody had left a “dummy” dressed in a camouflage suit in the woods, I went to pick up one arm and it surprised me as to how heavy the arm was. Then this "dummy" started to move and stood up. Kali was very excited that she had found her man and was expecting her reward, her special liver treat. I was so startled to see this thing "dummy" get up I almost…well, you know,it scared the dickens out of me. The hound knew she had found the live person we were trailing – the handler had no idea. Now, some who know Al Means would say that Kali found the dummy but I wouldn’t say that…..
